Bridle/Halter Sizes: Full, Cob or Pony

We usually have the choice to choose our size of our horse bridle, when buying a bridle or halter.
Typical sizes are pony, cob and full, and somepeople don't know what is the most appropiate.
Obviously the size pony is for very small horses, ponies, or small horse heads.
Cob size is normal for Spanish and Portuguese horses, which do not ultimately have a big head. However all halters are adjustable through the holes you have.
Full size is very large type for Shire horse with a very big head.
All these indications are approximate as all halters are adjustable. Maybe 2 sizes can fit your horse head, there's not only one posibility.

If you are in doubt consult your local equestrian dealer, it can help you to choose the best option for your horse.

In our section of bridles in our equestrian shop you can find all you need.

The halter jaquima or rope type usually come with knots that can be adjusted by tightening or loosening. Such calls are called unpunished.

Aforetime, the shepherds used the spanish chaps to keep them from rainfalls and cold. Now is also used by “Rejoneadores”, spanish “toreros” on horseback.

Spanish chaps can be used by men and women, but is a tradition that women collect their hair if they wear this apron.
